Natalie and Dan’s wedding took place in the pretty little village of Shobrooke just outside Crediton in Devon. Being the proud owners of the village pub, The Red Lion Inn, they were in the very rare position of being able to host their own reception and it suited them perfectly. The thing we loved about them when we met them was how relaxed and laid back they were, and they wanted their wedding day to be just that. We love the spontaneity of weddings like this that don’t stick too rigidly to a schedule. Things just flow naturally, everyone relaxes and good times are had by all.
They were married in the village church St Swithun’s, then we took the opportunity to head over to Shobrooke park for some fun portraits with their lovely little girl Molly, before heading back to join the party at the pub. It was beautiful weather and Natalie and Dan didn’t waste a second of it, everyone was out in the beer garden enjoying themselves until the sun went down.
